Terms of Service
Last updated: June 19, 2026
By accessing or using JUREVIA, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using the platform.
1. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the platform only for lawful educational purposes. You must not: share your account credentials with others, attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform, upload malicious content or scripts, use automated bots or scrapers, or impersonate other users or platform staff.
Academic integrity applies: do not use AI-generated content to misrepresent your own work in formal academic submissions without proper disclosure.
2. User Content
You retain ownership of study notes, case briefs, flashcards, and other content you create on the platform. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and back up your content solely for providing the service.
You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe on third-party copyrights, particularly when uploading or pasting excerpts from textbooks, case digests, or published bar reviewers.
3. Professor Content & Classroom Features
Professors using the Classroom feature agree to: only enroll students who have consented to participate, use assignment and grade features for legitimate educational purposes, not collect student data beyond what the platform provides, and comply with applicable data protection laws in the Philippines (Republic Act No. 10173 - Data Privacy Act).
Professors bear responsibility for the accuracy of assignments and reading materials they assign through the platform.
4. Study Materials & AI Content
All AI-generated content (case briefs, doctrine summaries, bar exam questions, legal explanations) is for educational and review purposes only. This content is not legal advice and may contain errors or outdated information.
We make no representation that AI-generated content accurately reflects current law, jurisprudence, or bar exam coverage. Always verify with official sources.
5. Subscriptions & Billing
Certain features require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
Refunds are not provided for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law or at our sole discretion for technical failures on our part.
6. Founder Beta Program
Founder Beta members receive lifetime or extended access as described at the time of their enrollment. This benefit is personal, non-transferable, and tied to the registered account. Founder status may be revoked for violations of these Terms.
Founder Beta features and pricing are subject to reasonable changes as the platform evolves, but core access commitments will be honored.
7. Account Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, abuse the platform's AI features, or harm other users. We will provide notice of suspension where possible.
You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your access will terminate and your data will be purged within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
The platform's design, code, trademarks, brand assets, and curated legal content are owned by or licensed to JUREVIA. You may not reproduce or redistribute platform content without permission.
Philippine Supreme Court decisions and statutes are public domain. Our organization, curation, and supplementary analysis of such materials remains our intellectual property.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JUREVIA shall not be liable for: indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of data, loss of exam opportunities, reliance on AI-generated content, or unauthorized access to your account resulting from your own negligence.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of the Philippines.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice with at least 14 days' advance notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
